German Flashcards: Learn Words (“the App”) is developed by Abhijith VS.
This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect limited information required to operate the App, improve performance, and enable optional account login.

A. Information Collected Automatically

We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data, including:

App Activity and Interactions

Examples include:

• Which screens you open
• Which learning decks you view
• When you swipe, flip, or listen to a word
• Other basic interaction events that help us understand how users engage with the App

This information cannot identify you unless you sign in.

Device Information

Firebase Analytics collects standard device-level information such as:

• Device type (Android/iOS)
• App version
• Anonymous installation ID

This helps us measure usage and app performance.

Note:
The App does not collect precise location, contacts, messages, or files.
The App does not collect crash logs, because Firebase Crashlytics is not enabled.

B. Information You Provide

Google Sign-In (Optional)

You may use the App without an account.
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your Google User ID

These are used only for authentication and account management.
We do not store this information on our own servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected for the following purposes:

App Functionality

• To allow users to sign in with Google
• To manage basic account access

Analytics and Improvement

• To understand how users interact with the App
• To improve features and overall user experience

We do NOT:

• Sell your data
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use your data for targeted advertising

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not share personal data with third parties.

The only services that process data on our behalf are Google Firebase services:

• Firebase Analytics
• Firebase Authentication

All data transmitted between your device and Firebase is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS.

5. Data Deletion and Account Removal

If you signed in using Google, you can remove the App’s access and delete associated data:

3. Select Remove Access

Removing access prevents the App from accessing your name, email, or Google User ID.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
